I'm not a flash maker. In fact I'm not too good at drawing either. So instead I do what most people on this site do.
Write reviews for flashes.
Now I know making a flash is hard for some people to do, that making an animation is hard, and that drawing is not something that everyone can do well (or should do in some people's cases) so I immediately give a salute to all the brave flash artists on this site who post their submissions, allowing the entire internet to look and judge your work, that is no easy feat to do, let me tell you that as a performer.
However! since you do post it on the internet, I don't want to see any angry flash artists telling me to shut my mouth because I'm not a flash artist. Well, if you want to have that philosophy you should just keep it to yourself if you're so immature about receiving a poor rating or someone being critical of your work that doesn't submit flashes.
I'm not an asshole and can usually tell when someone tried on a submission and where someone just got lazy. I try hard to give useful critiques and reasons to why I rated it so high or so low, because let's face it, a review that says, " I'm tripping balls" does not help anyone. I try to offer suggestions that can make your future flashes better. Sometimes that can be harsh on people and that's understandable, it hurts to hear only negative comments when you tried your hardest on a flash, just make sure you move on and not whine about like a little kid throwing a tantrum. With that out of way on to how I feel about the "portal"
I've become pretty harsh with my grading now a days. haven't watched or played a flash in long time in where I honestly could say "that this flash deserves a 10" Perhaps maybe I'll see one soon.
